Last year, Jelly Roll hosted a pair of shows for Jimmy Kimmel when the late-night comedian took his summer break. The country star must have made an impression because he’s returning to the desk again this year when Kimmel goes on his two-week hiatus.

ABC and Kimmel, who was famously suspended last September over comments made on-air about late political activist Charlie Kirk, announced the guest hosts lineup late last week. Along with Jelly Roll, Tiffany Haddish, Colman Domingo, Ike Barinholtz, Anthony Anderson, and Rosie O’Donnell will all take the mic.

But what will Jelly Roll speak about? During his Jimmy Kimmel Live! monologues last year, the Antioch, Tennessee, native touched on his weight, his tattoos, and topics like the UFC fight at the White House (“I think it’s awesome,” he joked in 2025. “Where I’m from, watching two methheads beat the piss out of each other on a lawn is just a part of our year.”) This year, however, the former rapper is going through a high-profile divorce from the podcaster Bunnie Xo.  The couple’s separation came to light on June 15, when the divorce filing, dated May 18, was revealed. Since then, both Jelly and Bunnie have talked about what’s in store for their respective futures.

During an episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, Bunnie said that still includes a baby with Jelly Roll. “You guys are going to be shocked to hear this, but we’re still having a baby … We have been the most unconventional couple that you guys have ever encountered,” she said.

Jelly, meanwhile, addressed rumors that there was infidelity in the marriage. Onstage in Saratoga Springs, New York, last week, he said, “Nobody cheated on nobody,” and declared, “This is the only time I will ever speak about it.”

We’ll find out if that’s true when Jelly Roll gives his late-night monologue later this summer.
