Africa Emerging Leaders Conference: Empowering Young Leaders Through Connection and Action

africa

Is the world’s youngest continent. With a majority of its population under the age of 35, the future of the continent will be shaped by the vision, courage, and collaboration of its emerging leaders. Yet talent and ambition alone are rarely enough. Young leaders need platforms that equip them with practical insight, expand their networks across borders, and connect them with peers and mentors who share a commitment to progress.

The Africa Emerging Leaders Conference and Awards (AELCA) was created precisely for this purpose. Organized by the West African Leadership and Empowerment Centre (WALEC), the conference brings together visionary young professionals, entrepreneurs, changemakers, and established leaders from across the continent. It is a space designed for meaningful exchange, recognition of impact, and the formation of relationships that can outlast a single event.
