INEC has declared Barrister Danladi Halilu Envulu-Anza of the APC winner of the Nasarawa North Senatorial By-Election with 45,362 votes.
Announcing the results, the returning officer for the election, Professor Aminu Ali, on Sunday, made the declaration at the College of Education, Akwanga.
Halilu Danladi of the All Progressive Congress (APC ) secured forty-five thousand, three hundred and sixty two, while Hon Labaran Maku of Labour Party scored twelve thousand, nine hundred and thirty one,to come second, with Emmanuel David Ombugadu of the People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) securing eleven thousand three hundred and thirty one.
In other results, Mohammed Stephen Alaku of the ADC scored 4,244, while Arc. Ishaya Dubai Dodo of NDC secured 1,496.
Meanwhile, most political parties are protesting the results.
