Nigerian lifestyle influencer and dance enthusiast Ntumobe Chisom, popularly known as Cheesohm, has announced the next edition of her “Dance with Cheesohm” initiative following the success of a recent Afrobeats dance class held in Lekki, Lagos.

The previous session, which took place at Alpha Fitness Studio on Admiralty Way, attracted dance enthusiasts and beginners seeking an engaging introduction to Afrobeats dance. Participants were exposed to energetic choreography designed to promote fitness, confidence, self-expression, and appreciation of African culture.

Attendees described the experience as exciting and welcoming, noting that the class was accessible to people regardless of their dance background. Many also praised the supportive atmosphere and sense of community created during the event.

Speaking on the outcome of the programme, Cheesohm expressed appreciation for the positive response from participants.

“The response to our last class was truly inspiring. Seeing people step into the room, embrace the experience, and leave feeling more confident and energized reminded me why Dance with Cheesohm is important. It is more than a dance class; it is a community where people can connect, express themselves freely, and celebrate the beauty of Afrobeats culture. I am excited to welcome even more people to the next edition,” she said.

Building on the momentum of the first session, the next edition of Dance with Cheesohm is scheduled to hold on June 27, 2026, at Alpha Fitness Studio, Lekki.

According to the organisers, participants can expect new choreography, interactive learning sessions, and opportunities to further develop their dance skills in a fun and supportive environment. The class remains open to beginners as well as experienced dancers.

Registration for the event costs ₦15,000 per person, with attendance limited to 30 participants to ensure a more personalized learning experience.

As Afrobeats continues to enjoy growing global popularity, the initiative seeks to support the development of dance culture in Nigeria by providing accessible platforms that encourage creativity, wellness, confidence, and cultural appreciation.

Interested participants have been advised to register early, as available slots are expected to fill quickly. Registration details will be made available through Cheesohm’s official social media platforms.
